What is it that decides if a blog is fastest growing on the wordpress dashboard? Is it just the amount of text that is put in to it? Is it increase in readers? Is it incoming links? Does anyonw know?

As far as I can tell the Fastest Growing Blogs on WordPress is just the blogs who are posting most at the moment. Have tried a few things and it’s my belief that lots of posts give this rank, not lots of text.
